It is my pleasure to announce the date and location for the 2010 AWPC Amateur World Powerlifting Congress Championships.

The date is July 16-18 2010 in West Palm Beach, Florida, USA.  We look forward to seeing a Team from your country represented.  If your country is not an affiliate of the WPC/AWPC please contact us to join!

Entry Form - Please have each athlete fill out all details on the entry form. Each lifter will be allowed one coach.  There can only be 3 lifters from each country per weight class and age group. Entry Form

Entry Deadline- June 1, 2010  Entries must be in by this date.

Entry Confirmation - Please notify the AWPC office regarding your countries attendance as soon as possible.  You may notify us by e-mail at amyljackson@aol.com or phone us at 630-896-7309.

Entry Fee- $100.00 Powerlifting   $100 Bench Press   $150 Powerlifting & Bench Press (must lift in each division)

An athlete may enter both the Bench Press and the Powerlifting Championships, however an entry fee for each is required and the lifter will have to lift in both divisions.  The first division is $100 and the second division is $50.  Please send all entries in one packet. Room rates are $85.00 per night.  Cut off date to receive discounted rate is June 24th.  The hotel will fill fast so make your reservations early.  Hotels are known to book solid - reservations must be made as soon as possible to guarantee a room.  After the cut off date reservations and rates are subject to availability. 

Travel - The Airport is West Palm Beach International and is 11 miles from the hotel. 

The Hotel is located near plenty of shopping, restaurants, theaters, museums, entertainment and beaches.

Awards:

Awards will be given to the first three places in each Men’s & Women’s divisions.  There will be one Men’s and one Women’s best lifter award based upon entries in each division by formula.
